Try a Class

Curious, but still not sure this is for you?  Try out this sample class to get a sense of how Wildish  Writing works….

Stay in Touch

Poem #1

Before by Ada Limon. Wildish Writing is a process of discovery, not of perfection.  What we’re trying to do here is to bypass the self-critical voice and allow the creative unconscious to flow through us.  There is no way to do this wrong – just keep your hand moving, never leaving the page, and say yes to what’s coming.

Poem #2

Good Bones by Maggie Smith. Great job, you jumped into the pool.  How was that for you?  Was anything about it surprising?  In this process, we’re inviting surprises and allowing ourselves to fall into rabbit holes. With this next one, why not allow yourself to take some risks and maybe write about something unsuspected?

Poem #3

Access Road by Alison Luterman. Now you’ve got a sense of how this works.  We have one more poem to go, so why not just really let it rip this time?  Whatever comes up, comes out.  You can trust yourself to let it flow, and trust the page to contain it all. This is a safe space and a brave space to let your authentic voice be heard.
